In the Spotlight Interview: Diana Barash The Singer-Songwriter & Composer!

In the Spotlight Interview for Bongo Boy Records Artist Diana Barash

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with me! Please tell us a bit about yourself and what you do currently…

I’m trying to better and heal this world with my music. It makes me sad when I hear about human beings hurting others. Violence is something that I can’t comprehend, just it doesn’t make sense. Knowing how pain feels, how and why would one inflict it on another?

AlbumCover__Diana_Barash

We’re here to enjoy and lend a hand to others in need, not stronger abusing and taking advantage of the weak. It’s not human, it’s not what the creator had in mind for us! My songs are about inspiration, empowerment, hope, unity and world peace. I like to beautify, enrich and improve human conditions. There must be a reason that I have a psychology degree… I’m constantly writing new songs and weekly in the studio recording.

What inspired you to start creating your own music?

It wasn’t a choice, I was composing from a young age. I like telling the story when I was in first grade, sitting in class and melodies were coming to my head and I was humming them out loud without noticing it of course until my classmates brought it to my attention. Being born in Former Soviet Union and at a young age I was exposed to a lot of classical music. Best ballet in the world and figure skating and the music that accompanied those venues and TV shows was very inspiring for me and payed a big role in my musical development.

What has been your biggest achievement so far?

Supporting my friends in the independent Grammy group, being nominated for Cyber Love song in the dance category in HMMA. People telling me that my lyrics made them teary, inspired them to end a bad relationship and that my music moved them and they can identify with my “musical stories”.

What do you have planned for this year?

Hopefully to release my next album. It’s always a long and tedious process, I’m a slow writer and a perfectionist. Always challenging myself musically and lyrically. Climbing to heights where I haven’t been yet, unfamiliar territories and I love it!!! It’s never boring or old. Always looking for new; sounds, instruments, parts, topics, way of recording and vocal endeavors.

Who are the top 3 celebrities/artists you’d love to work with? And why?

Musically I love Sade and Jamiroquai, they have beautiful music and unbelievable production, they really move me and inspire me. They are super creative.

Sade is elegant, has many songs about love and addresses needs and shortcoming of humanity Jamiroqui has powerful rhythms and whimsical, clever lyrics, and great dancing skills.

The third one is Oprah, her life story is amazing, what she overcame and where she came from and the empire she was able to build, is beyond inspiration. She is a good role model I would love to be on her show and share with the world my songs about love, unity and perseverance.

Take a moment to close your eyes. Where do ideally you see yourself in 5 year’s time?

Still writing, collaborating, inspiring, bettering this planet. Maybe working directly with kids, empowering them to be their best and taking care of their earth!

If you could get the perfect help from an online tax return service, what would they do for you?

Simplify things and expedite return.

Can you give our readers 2 key tips for staying creative?

Listening to classical music and travelling!

DIANA BARASH 10

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only bring 3 things what would they be?

Canvases with paints so I can continue painting, a keyboard and a fun person.

How do you describe yourself in 5 words?

Logical, fearless, humanitarian, leader, sensitive.

annual tax return uk

A pay-as-you-earn tax (PAYE) or pay-as-you-go (in Australia) is a withholding tax on income payments to employees. Amounts withheld are treated as advance payments of income tax due. They are refundable to the extent they exceed tax as determined on tax returns. PAYE may include withholding the employee portion of insurance contributions or similar social benefit taxes. In most countries, they are determined by employers but subject to government review. PAYE is deducted from each paycheck by the employer and must be remitted promptly to the government. Most countries refer to income tax withholding by other terms, including pay-as-you-go tax. see more at wikipedia Are you interested to learn more? Benefits of P2P Lending

You purchase everything online, whether it’s investments or groceries. Why not do your lending online, as well? Doesn’t it seem a little odd that when we lend money, we still depend on traditional ways, although we’ve gone digital for everything else?   Peer-to-peer lending is the new lending system that makes borrowing money easier than ever. Let’s examine how this works.   Nobody likes the tedious task of completing various forms, supplying numerous documents, and then waiting for to see if a loan is approved. Even after all of this effort, you can’t be sure that the bank will actually approve your loan.   If you do not have a high credit score, or if your salary is lower than their minimum cut-off then the loan you request may not be approved. Turning to friends or relatives to ask for a loan can be an embarrassing process.   Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could obtain a personal loan without dealing with the formality of a bank or the embarrassment of asking for a loan fro
